Mukuro & Squalo || Murky Waters

illusionistrokudoumukuro:

“Just trying to be polite to an unusual guest that has decided to grace my humble home with his presence and, as it seems, blood as well.” Mukuro answers back and makes two more steps to get closer to Squalo.

He looks down on the bloody wounds that Squalo has. The shark must be in pain, his voice and the expression on his face were signs enough for that. Mukuro could take the pain away, if only until the shark of Varia has cleaned himself up a bit, but, sadly, the illusionist wasn’t that nice, nor generous.

Mukuro tilts his head on one side and then asks, “Would you like some help? It won’t come for free, of course, since nothing comes for free in this world.” he doesn’t smile nor taunt like usually he would. This wasn’t the right situation for that.

While Squalo tries to decide what to do though the haze made by the pain he was feeling Mukuro tried to see how much damage had been done to the assassin, apart from the bleeding arm and the damaged leg. It was hard to tell, since Squalo was sitting on the ground and leaning slightly forward, as to somehow lessen the pain.

“Tch, polite will get you no where. I don’t deal with your shit. Get out of here. I have things to take care of.”
Squalo turned his back onto Mukuro and went to walk onwards. He didn’t want to deal with Mukuro with the state that he was currently in. Why did Mukuro just continue to hover? What did he want? Suddenly, as Mukuro spoke, Squalo stopped and turned his head to look at Mukuro before sliding down onto the ground and ignored Mukuro for the time being.

“I don’t want any help from you. Just get lost will you?! I don’t have the time for you!”

Giotto and Squalo

the-first-vongola-sky:

-The silver-haired male seemed confident about his strength… A little too confident. That will most defiantly be the death of him, and Giotto was not going to hesitate if it came to that. This male wasn’t going to back down from this situation, and he wasn’t going to go without a fight. As much as Giotto disliked fighting, he was going to do all he could to protect this place, even if it meant watching heads roll. Maybe this one was next? Well Giotto wasn’t going to lose. He had too much to live for to lose to some cocky loudmouth who seemed to not give a damn about anything that Giotto had said. The seriousness upon his face was enough to tell anyone that Giotto meant business, and his now golden eyes were filled with determination as he stood there. He was ready for anything.-

-Unlike the arrogant sod that stood in front of him, Giotto took in what the other was saying, even if it was against everything he said… Did he just insult the Vongola? How dare he insult the Vongola in front of him. The Vongola was his pride, and anyone to oppose it was going to get hurt. And anyone who insults it will soon learn to never to it again. The blonde angrily clenched his fists as he now glared a fierce glare towards the other. He was highly irritated at the male. Maybe heads will roll after all.-

“How dare you insult my Vongola! Myself and my Family worked hard maintaining it’s rightful ambitions and keeping to it’s original reason. We will not take the responsibility for the stupidness that your generation has poured upon our pride… But that is the reason why I accepted Decimo, and not your boss.”

-Giotto was the one controlling the ring, and choosing who it was going to accept or not. The other Guardians were doing that with their rings as well, and he knew that as son as he met Xanxus, there was going to be another incident like the Secondo. Giotto then pointed out something that needed to be said. It was probably going to make him look bad, but he was highly grateful to Decimo for doing it.-

“And besides. We may not be there, but our spirits are with the Decimo Family, because they understand the original purpose for the Vongola, and they will not abuse it’s power like the rest of the bosses have in the past. We will always support someone who is perfect for the role of taking care for the Vongola, no matter what.”

The blonde then commented on the rest of the stuff that the shark said. Compared to insulting the Vongola, it wasn’t really all that important. Well, unless the male apologizes to him or stood down, he wasn’t getting out of it. Giotto needed to show this guy some manners, and beating it into him seemed to be the only way forwards.-

“Being overconfident with your power will be your death. If it is by my hands, then I will hold no responsibilities. You are a threat and disturbance to my town, and I cannot forgive that. You are not welcome here. I shall give you one last chance to leave before I unleash my power, and I promise you that I will cause you to feel regret if you chose not to stand down and leave.”

-Gosh, Giotto really disliked this male. He was never the type of person to dislike anyone, but he had finally managed to find someone that he just didn’t like. Ah well, that’s just the small part of the problem. He needed to get rid of this man before people are hurt.-

The roar that Giotto made towards the silver swordsman actually frightened Squalo a little bit. The anger that Giotto was showing was a little fearsome. It took a lot to actually scare Squalo and Giotto was driving down the right road for that. The shark was taken aback. The flame startled him. Squalo wanted to prove he was right about the Vongola though. He didn’t want to let the Primo put his words down, even if the majority was just Squalo’s opinion. As Giotto mentioned Tsuna being accepted, Squalo spat out a laugh.

“Pah! That brat can’t do jack shit! He’s too useless! He’s afraid of reality, afraid of the mafia world! No way would a boss be able to live in such a place!”

The speeches were making Squalo sleepy. Bored. They were just going in one ear and then out the other. Squalo couldn’t be bothered to hear what he had to say. He rolled his eyes and grunted, continuing to get fed up. Keep going Primo. The more Giotto would speak, the more Squalo’s head began to spin from fustration. He held his head, waiting for the blond to shut up. But still, he kept going. The shark finally broke. He yelled out and pointed his sword towards the Vongola Primo again.

“VOI! I’ve had enough of your blabber! I done nothing yet you say I’m a threat to your town! People like you really piss me off!”

Squalo couldn’t stand waiting around like he was waiting for a late bus. He had enough. He had to. Squalo took a chance and went to swipe at the blond.

Mukuro & Squalo || Murky Waters

illusionistrokudoumukuro:

Ahh, rain.

Mukuro would never admit this, but he loved those days when rain seemed to come down from the sky as if intending to drown the world and thunder and lightning tearing the sky in half. He would do nothing more than spend the day sitting on the windowsill of one of the broken windows of his ‘home’ and watch the show before him - it was almost soothing, in a way.

Though, as it would seem, today would be a bit different. The illusionist blinked and watched as the bloodied Rain Guardian of Varia’s boss limped inside his humble abode, leaving behind a trail of blood that is soon washed away by the rainwater. Interesting.

Mukuro jumps down from the windowsill and walks towards the staurs leading down to the floors below. It takes him a rather short time to get down to the first floor, locate the trail of blood and water and follow it to the inner rooms where Squalo had hidden himself in. It was done quite badly actually, since the trail was more than a giveaway of his current location.

At first he just stands in the doorway and watches the man as he tries to fix the bleeding arm but then sighs and speaks out, alarming the other of his presence. “Good day Squalo. Though, it seems that it hasn’t been that good for you.”

Squalo continued to limp and tremble through the soaked warehouse, puddles scattered throughout the corridors, ceilings leaking, wonderful. Squalo still clung to his injured arm and panted as he continued onwards, finding a spot where he could probably clean himself. He kinda needed it. The silver haired shark bit his lip, trying to clear his mind of the pain he was in right now. He continued to mutter and swear under his breath and through gaps of pants about the person that did all this to him. He couldn’t believe he managed to do this much damage to him. This was ridiculous. Preposterous.

Suddenly the break of the rain dripping through was disturbed by the Vongola Mist Guardian’s voice. Rokudo Mukuro. Squalo stopped in his tracks and looked from the corner of his eye.

“What should it matter to you, Rokudo Mukuro?”

His voice sounded broken, torn. He was in pain after all.

Squalo/Xanxus || Hungry Hungry Bossu

xanxussteak:

This was probably one of the longest missions that Xanxus had ever been out on. The boss was not a huge fan of work, opting instead to stay back at the mansion and laze around on his throne all day. Possibly gorging himself on the most quality steak he could fine. Of course, it wasn’t as if he didn’t do work at all. He was capable of it and he had been raised to do so. Missions didn’t bother him, not at all. It was a thrill to get outside and just do something that he did best— assassination. It was relaxing to him to finally let go.

No, what bothered him was all the paperwork he would be left behind with. The Varia weren’t only about assassinating. They had other things to attend to, such as making allies and helping out other families once in a while. But that bored Xanxus and he wasn’t the most patient of men. That was why work was usually dumped onto his annoying and loud second in command, Squalo.

The man threw open the main doors to the mansion, walking in with Bester at his side. His clothes were a bit worn out and in few places stained with blood. None of which was his. He had a peaceful enough expression on his face though and Xanxus looked ready for a shower. His usually spiked down hair was in now a mess.

“Food,” was all he said as he stormed through the hallway and up to his throne where he took his seat. Well, maybe he should take a shower first—but after he ate. He was starving.

Squalo sadly had to remain at home when he went out on the mission. Fucking asshole. It was definitely something Squalo wanted to go and do. The mission sounded like fun to the shark but of course he had strict orders to stay behind. Squalo swore insanely when he was told to, but Xanxus probably didn’t give a shit and walked out.

Squalo continued to sprawl on the sofa, his one leg raised on the sofa with his arms dangling behind it and his head jolted back on the side. Shitty fucking boss, he thought as always. He always had the fun missions and poor Squalo was stuck with the crappy missions that always had to be with someone he hated. He really wanted to go on the mission. If he disobeyed Xanxus now, he’d never hear the end of it. A part of him felt lazy too, so that part seemed to overtake Squalo at the moment.

The slamming of the opening doors pulled Squalo’s attention and he sat up properly as Xanxus walked in with Bester. The boss’ clothes were a bit tattered, the smell of blood made Squalo itch with jealousy. Now Squalo was even more irritated that he couldn’t go on the mission. He heard the food comment too. He yelled out to Xanxus.

“VOI! You come back and that’s the first thing you say!? You really don’t ask for much do you?!”

Of Value | Squalo and Mams

Squalo had just finished putting on his jacket. He straightened out the creases and adjusted the sleeves to make sure they were right on his arms. He then looked at his reflection in the mirror. Beautiful.
He then walked off and shouted out from the bottom of the staircase, echoing through most of the Varia HQ.

“VOOII! MAMMON YOU BETTER BE READY OTHERWISE I’M LEAVING WITHOUT YOU! THAT TREASURE IS NOT GOING TO GET ITSELF.”

There was rumors around, something about a great treasure hidden around somewhere in Japan from a great swordsman of the past. Whatever it was, Squalo wanted it for himself. He knew that Mammon would want to sell it for cash, but there was no way Squalo’d let him do that so easily. He made sure that his sword was shiny, looked like it was brand new. Everything from top to toe was perfect, even if there was probably going to be obstacles in the way later on, but Squalo didn’t really care about the specs of dust or tears he’d get. He’d just have an earful from Lussuria and he really couldn’t be bothered with that. When could he ever? He remained at the bottom of the stairs, now waiting for Mammon.

Mukuro & Squalo || Murky Waters

Fuck.
Squalo held his arm, which was seeping blood. His clothes were in a bad ripped and tattered state, he was pretty badly beaten. The rain hammered down, the thunder rumbled the black and grey skies above. Squalo was even limping a little. He got into a little confliction with an unknown enemy. He did take them down but they obviously proved competition for the rain guardian.

The rain showered down onto the shark. As well as injured, he was also now soaking wet. He looked up. There it was. The warehouse from Kokuyo Land. He managed to wind up here? It was shelter at the end of the day. Squalo now made his way forward, limping and cursing under his breath, panting as he did so. That bastard, he thought.

He was also unaware that Rokudo Mukuro still remained here. Whether he was ‘home’ or not was another story. Squalo just wanted to find shelter, clean himself up and get back to the Varia.

Giotto and Squalo

the-first-vongola-sky:

-The Vongola Primo’s lips thinned as he heard the other speak such a way towards him. It was most certainly rude of the silver-haired male to be speaking to him in such a way. His fist clenched tightly as he grew a little more irritated, allowing his other hand to drop at his side at the same time. Once he had done this, the blond’s flame appeared. He was most certainly not going to be allowing a man like him treat both him and his townsfolk like crap.-

“I do not like you. I do not like the way to speak to people, and I most certainly don’t like people who think they are the ‘best’. Nobody is the best. Everyone has someone that is better than them regardless of their abilities and skills. If you are too arrogant to see that then you are not worthy to be in the Vongola, even if your so-called Varia claims to be nothing bu the best. It sickens me to think that the Vongola has grown to be so disgustingly arrogant whilst I was away.”

-Giotto spoke with a more serious tone, and his facial features wore the serious look to go with it. He most certainly not going to let the other walk all over him, or give Vongola a bad name. He probably doesn’t even know much about it’s history, or why it was made in the first place. He pitied the arrogant male as he stood there, narrowing his eyes to glare at the other.-

“I suggest you leave my sight or there will be consequences that will cause you to regret crossing me.”

Seeing the flame appeared, Squalo took a step back and held his arm up bent in front of him. Aww jeez, this guy meant business. But, he should have understood where he was coming from! Others may think that Squalo was being a little too loud and rude towards the Vongola Primo. He did create the Vongola together with a member of the Shimon family obviously. But somewhat, it seemed that Squalo couldn’t give a damn. Giotto’s words came harshly down onto the Varia member. Still, he remained calm. There was no set attack… yet. He grinned at the speech that was given towards him. Time to crack some knuckles and beat some sense into this guy. First, we see how verbal we can go.

“Arrogant? Please. You obviously don’t know who I am.”

His silver sword was brought up to his face, covering some of his face. He glared towards the Primo as he spoke.

“I am the great Superbi Squalo. The greatest swordsman and sword Emperor you will ever face! I am not one to be taken lightly nor will I be defeated so easily! Especially by the likes of you! True, the Vongola has become ‘digustingly arrogant’ as you so claim, but it doesn’t really matter! You weren’t here to make it any better! This familgia was taken over by bosses with much more obsession over power and their minds were corrupted by power. It’s something we all had to get used to. If you think I’m arrogant then you really don’t know my boss… He is much worse than you can ever think about.”

Squalo bared his teeth like a wolf, ready to attack. He was right about Xanxus however. He was definitely worse than Squalo. Squalo was also most likely to be ‘more polite’ and ‘mannered’ than Xanxus.
